Pass on scratchy wool, and invest in some oh so soft cashmere sweaters!

Cashmere is not only soft and luxurious, it’s currently in your price range. I refuse to buy itchy wool because it is exactly that – itchy. Instead, I wait until one specific store marks down all their cashmere to at least 60% off and then I typically buy a new sweater each year. Usually the sale is the day after Christmas, but this year the sales are starting now. YAY!!

Even if you think that cashmere is difficult to maintain, think of it like this….It will last – much longer than cheap, synthetic sweaters. It is incredibly warm and soft. It will make you feel like a million dollars!

So stop buying acrylic sweaters that aren’t breathable and fall apart, and stop buying itchy wool because it’s $20 cheaper….and start buying cashmere sweaters!

My favorite place to find these is Bloomingdales. Now, I never shop at Bloomingdales any other time, really, but their sweaters are the BEST. Tons of colors and styles, really one for every mama in need! High fashion with prints, swingy tunics, v-necks, distressed, and simple round crewneck styles – they carry them all.
