Shoe Review: Zen Moment Sneaker
One of the IT colors this spring is a pretty shade of blue! So when I found this Zen Moment Earth sneaker in blue, I fell in love. (True color is called Blue Denim). Luckily for me, Earth Shoes gifted me this pair so I’m here to tell you allll the details! Mom life is sneaker life. Well, stay at home mom life, that is…. And since that’s been my life for 5 years, I’ve hunted around for the cutest shoes that pull their weight in both style and comfort. Because I’m too old to buy cheap shoes that hurt my feet. (That’s what my 20’s were for…) And I…

Leather Ankle Bootie with Arch Support
To kick off another shoe review, I found this perfect, neutral ankle bootie that is just about perfect! How so? Read on.. Leather: First off, the outer and inner lining are leather. Nice, buttery soft leather. Stacked heel: There is enough of a heel that it’s not a flat boot, but not enough heel to make walking around all day uncomfortable. All weather: They are waterproof! So that means you can wear them in the rain or snow and they will still look nice and keep your feet warm! Support: They have good arch support! There is a removable Dansko insole, and dansko insoles have good support in general. Your…

Get Your (white) Kicks On!
I’ve been loving my white velcro sneakers because they’re comfy, cute, and fun to wear! And….as I strolled my way through the Nordstroms shoe department, I was blinded by not only 1, but 2 entire shoe areas that were solely dedicated to all white, leather sneakers! Hello Spring style (despite it being January…) While I love mine because they have some cute gold detailing and seem to avoid dirt pretty easily, they are from last season and currently only available here. So I hunted around for a few other good options, and here you go! Or this cute white shoe with silver accents and good arch support! If you are…

5 Tips for creating a cute “Mom Wardobe” (& finding your mama mojo!)
Sometimes as moms we lose our style. We have babies, we gain weight, we lose weight, we have no time to shop for new clothes, much less wash and fold them. I certainly felt this way when I had two kids under 2 years old! But what I wish I’d known then, I know now. Just as our lives change with kids, our wardrobes need to change too! Maybe you used to work and most of your clothing is work clothing. Or maybe you had tons of workout clothing and now the only fitness your doing is racing upstairs to grab a diaper and extra burp cloths. Whatever it may…

Reef Voyage Ankle Boot
When I think of REEF, I think of flipflops. Specifically some cute blue and white ones I wore when I was 15. The name brings to mind surf shops, summer vacation, and my teenage years. Oh my…..However, I hunted high and low for ankle boots with arch support, and read hundreds of reviews on Nordstroms and Zappos. So I’m happy to give these an A+ in all categories! I loved them so much that I bought them in a metallic gold suede and then later, a camel colored suede. (Slightly different style, but the fit is exactly the same). They zip on the side, stretch to accomodate a medium to…

Earth Shoe “Clove” Slide On
After trying on slide ons for the past 2 years (no joke) and not finding anything that fit my shoe requirements: cushioned footbed, arch support, leather, and stylish, I found this one! The fact it happens to be gold leather and have a removable insole is just icing on the cake. It runs large, so I sized down to a 10 regular (I’m typically a 10.5) and even though it still slipped a bit in the heel, I knew it was the best I’d ever find. (I initially added a heel liner to the shoe but after a few months it slipped off but I didn’t have any additional slippage…
