See Kai Run – Quality Shoes for Kids!
Did you know that See Kai Run was founded by a Seattle mom in 2004?? Yep – when she couldn’t find shoes that were kid friendly, fun, and provided the necessary support for a developing foot…. She made her own! And I’m SO grateful she did! It’s one of the only brands that fit my kids WIDE feet. The shoes always last until my kids grow out of them. They have the American Podiatrist seal of approval. I like my kids looking like kids, not mini adults – and See Kai Run shoes are designed for KIDS! Over the years, we have purchased many of their shoes and have the…

Necessities, right?….. And while you’re at it, mama also needs a new cotton dress, humidity resistant hairspray, gel nailpolish for an at home pedi, and new lace underwear because – well, just because! Summer Sandals: Cute & Comfortable!
Sandals can be tricky. There are so many cute options, but cute does not equal comfortable. And don’t you want both? Of course! As a mom, you are probably on your feet. All. The. Time. Yep, mom life calls for summer sandals that are stylish & comfortable. Sandals that we can wear to the beach, the pool, the playground, or chasing around our children! So…Steer clear of those cheap $15 Target sandals, because if you have high arches or flat feet, those things are like the flaky friend or the bad boy that we all dated at some point. They’re there for the fun, but not for the long haul.…

Shoe Review: Zen Moment Sneaker
One of the IT colors this spring is a pretty shade of blue! So when I found this Zen Moment Earth sneaker in blue, I fell in love. (True color is called Blue Denim). Luckily for me, Earth Shoes gifted me this pair so I’m here to tell you allll the details! Mom life is sneaker life. Well, stay at home mom life, that is…. And since that’s been my life for 5 years, I’ve hunted around for the cutest shoes that pull their weight in both style and comfort. Because I’m too old to buy cheap shoes that hurt my feet. (That’s what my 20’s were for…) And I…

Shoe Review: Dansko Hatty Sneaker
It’s another comfy shoe review coming back at you! I did a video review on my Instagram last week, but in case you don’t follow me over there, I’m bringing it to my blog! White sneakers are all the rage this spring. Probably because they go with everything: jeans, shorts, rompers, dresses, and workout clothing! Most of the shoe brands out there have soles that are as flat as a pancake and will leave your feet, legs, and back screaming in pain after standing on your feet for an hour at Costco. (Because let’s be real here, that’s essentially mom life. Costco plus Target, Sprouts, the playground, etc.) All of…

5 Tips for creating a cute “Mom Wardobe” (& finding your mama mojo!)
Sometimes as moms we lose our style. We have babies, we gain weight, we lose weight, we have no time to shop for new clothes, much less wash and fold them. I certainly felt this way when I had two kids under 2 years old! But what I wish I’d known then, I know now. Just as our lives change with kids, our wardrobes need to change too! Maybe you used to work and most of your clothing is work clothing. Or maybe you had tons of workout clothing and now the only fitness your doing is racing upstairs to grab a diaper and extra burp cloths. Whatever it may…

Pass on scratchy wool, and invest in some oh so soft cashmere sweaters!
Cashmere is not only soft and luxurious, it’s currently in your price range. I refuse to buy itchy wool because it is exactly that – itchy. Instead, I wait until one specific store marks down all their cashmere to at least 60% off and then I typically buy a new sweater each year. Usually the sale is the day after Christmas, but this year the sales are starting now. YAY!! Even if you think that cashmere is difficult to maintain, think of it like this….It will last – much longer than cheap, synthetic sweaters. It is incredibly warm and soft. It will make you feel like a million dollars! So…
