The BEST Wedges & Heels for High Arches
So the more I talk to women, the more I find out that almost everyone has some sort of foot pain. Pregnancy related or not, it’s probably right about now that all those years of wearing cheap shoes is showing up in the form of….foot pain. So here you go – my tried & true favorites for when you have a special event and need a comfortable (but still cute) wedge or high heel! I am not a stiletto person, but I wore these gold ones all evening at a wedding and had zero foot pain. They’re the only stiletto shoe I will recommend.

Shoe Review: Zen Moment Sneaker
One of the IT colors this spring is a pretty shade of blue! So when I found this Zen Moment Earth sneaker in blue, I fell in love. (True color is called Blue Denim). Luckily for me, Earth Shoes gifted me this pair so I’m here to tell you allll the details! Mom life is sneaker life. Well, stay at home mom life, that is…. And since that’s been my life for 5 years, I’ve hunted around for the cutest shoes that pull their weight in both style and comfort. Because I’m too old to buy cheap shoes that hurt my feet. (That’s what my 20’s were for…) And I…

Shoe Review: Dansko Hatty Sneaker
It’s another comfy shoe review coming back at you! I did a video review on my Instagram last week, but in case you don’t follow me over there, I’m bringing it to my blog! White sneakers are all the rage this spring. Probably because they go with everything: jeans, shorts, rompers, dresses, and workout clothing! Most of the shoe brands out there have soles that are as flat as a pancake and will leave your feet, legs, and back screaming in pain after standing on your feet for an hour at Costco. (Because let’s be real here, that’s essentially mom life. Costco plus Target, Sprouts, the playground, etc.) All of…

Happy Valentines To You, Single Mama
It’s Valentine’s Day! The day of cupid, love, and lots of pink & red. Also, a day that reminds you of your divorced or newly single status… (As if you need another reminder, right??) For me last year, the holiday loomed up in front of me like a red flag (or open heart surgery). I was one month into my new, grief filled life: ringless, husbandless, and a newly single mom. I was devastated, angry, and still in shock over what my then husband had done to me and to our family. But that morning, on February 14th, the dreaded day of love arrived even when I wished it wouldn’t.…

Get Your (white) Kicks On!
I’ve been loving my white velcro sneakers because they’re comfy, cute, and fun to wear! And….as I strolled my way through the Nordstroms shoe department, I was blinded by not only 1, but 2 entire shoe areas that were solely dedicated to all white, leather sneakers! Hello Spring style (despite it being January…) While I love mine because they have some cute gold detailing and seem to avoid dirt pretty easily, they are from last season and currently only available here. So I hunted around for a few other good options, and here you go! Or this cute white shoe with silver accents and good arch support! If you are…

Run, don’t walk! Brooks Ghost 12 Running Shoes
Style is a priority for me. But comfort is, too. One without the other is like bread without butter…..No, thank you!! If you are new to my blog, the short story is that I have incredibly high arches that needed custom orthotics this year. Helloooo 35! Ha. Seriously. So high arches call for a quality shoe to exercise in. Actually, any foot requires a quality shoe to exercise in….So take note, because I’m here to help! My brother and sister in law started running together a few years ago and swore by Brooks running shoes. They were regulars at their local running store and learned that Brooks Ghost was the…
